The service
Water Delivery is an app operated by Abdali Technologies, Amman, Jordan, that connects customers who need a water tanker refill with independent drivers operating in Jordan. We arrange and dispatch the delivery; the water is delivered by the driver assigned to your order.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- The name, mobile number and address you give must be accurate, and the mobile number must be one you can be reached on — drivers call it.
- Your account is yours alone. Keep your password private; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- We may suspend or block an account that abuses the service, repeatedly refuses completed deliveries, or gives false information.
Orders
You order a quantity of water in cubic metres, or choose “decide on arrival” and agree the quantity with the driver at the delivery point. Your order is offered to nearby available drivers and is confirmed when one accepts it; until then no delivery is guaranteed. Delivery times shown in the app are estimates, not commitments — traffic, weather and tanker availability affect them.
You are responsible for giving a delivery point that a tanker can safely reach, and for being present or reachable when the driver arrives.
Price and payment
- Prices are shown in Jordanian Dinars and are charged per cubic metre at the rate displayed when you place the order.
- The final amount is calculated from the quantity actually delivered, which is why an order can total more or less than the initial estimate.
- Payment is cash on delivery, paid directly to the driver on completion. Online payment may be added in a later version and will be covered by these terms when it is.
- Any price change applies to new orders only, never to an order already accepted.
Cancellation
You can cancel an order free of charge before a driver accepts it, and you can still cancel after acceptance. We do not charge a cancellation fee in this version of the app, but repeated cancellations after a driver has set off may lead us to limit your account. A driver who cannot reach your location or cannot make contact with you may cancel the delivery.
Water quality and the driver’s role
Drivers are independent operators, not our employees. They are responsible for their vehicle, their licences and permits, and the water they supply, and for complying with Jordanian law and the health requirements that apply to water transport. We screen and approve the drivers on the platform and remove those who do not meet our standards, but we do not manufacture, treat or test the water ourselves and we do not warrant it as potable unless the driver states so.
Complaints
If something goes wrong — the quantity, the water, the conduct of a driver, or the amount paid — contact us at info@alabdalitech.com with the order details. We will look into it, mediate with the driver, and act on the driver’s account where that is warranted.
Acceptable use
- Do not place fake, abusive or automated orders.
- Do not harass, threaten or discriminate against a driver, and do not use a driver’s contact details for anything other than the delivery at hand.
- Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer or overload the app or our servers, or to access data that is not yours.
Liability
We provide the app as it is and do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent Jordanian law allows, our liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page changes with them, and significant changes are announced in the app. You may stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where we must do so by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
